At Kruze (developed by SENTIENTKRUZE TECHNOLOGIES LLP), we are committed to safeguarding your road telemetry, location data, and profile information. This document outlines how we collect, process, and secure your personal coordinates during active group touring operations.
1. Information We Collect
To provide premium safety monitoring and group riding features, Kruze requires specific technical parameters from your mobile device:
- Authentication Data: Phone numbers verified via OTP or Google Sign-In credentials to ensure zero anonymous access.
- Profile Details: Rider name, optional bio, and historical club ride achievements (Official Member, Hang Around, Wildcard).
- Emergency Contacts: Custom mobile numbers stored locally on your device or linked securely via Firestore to trigger SOS alerts.
2. Location & Telemetry Tracking

Kruze tracks your device's geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) in the background **ONLY during an active group ride**. This background tracking is strictly necessary to:Background tracking **immediately ceases** once the ride is completed or when you manually leave the ride within the application dashboard.
- Display your active position on the organizer's live ride command center.
- Allow the leader and sweep to monitor group cohesion and detect lost or off-route riders.
- Permit real-time emergency broadcasts (SOS Alerts) to notify sweeps, leaders, and contacts of your active position in case of mechanical or medical issues.
3. Security & Data Protection
Our server-side databases operate under rigorous defensive policies:
- Impregnable Firestore Rules: All user collections are locked via role-based rules. Guest users cannot access private rider logs. Non-admins cannot manipulate club roster credentials.
- Cryptographic Communications: All network transmissions are conducted over TLS (HTTPS). Release versions execute ProGuard obfuscation to prevent platform tampering.
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not monetize, rent, or sell your telemetry data to advertisers. Your coordinate history is processed exclusively for club route replays and ride tracking.
4. Your Sovereignty: Deletion & Access
You maintain absolute authority over your records. You may edit your profile or request immediate account deletion. In compliance with data compliance standards, when you initiate account deletion via our Deletion Portal, all active records (profile information, RSVPs, verified badges, and historical locations) are completely purged from our active databases.
